Sweet Chilli Chicken Burgers

Chicken is an amazing protein. It will keep you full for hours because it is digested slowly, and it’s one of the leanest meats available. Shake your lunch times up with some quick and easy spicy chicken burgers.

Sweet Potato Super Fries with Avocado Cream

Swap your usual fries for the super sweet potato version. A source of vitamin C, vitamin D and iron, sweet potatoes are also a good source of magnesium which is the relaxation and anti-stress mineral.

Cheesy Pumpkin Muffins

I miss cheese muffins. The ones at the local cafe topped with a crust of browned, bubbled cheese and overloaded with white flour. It was a no-brainer I had to healthify these delicious savoury morsels. My version also has no oil or flour, and with added veggies they are a much lighter way to enjoy! Pumpkin is low in calories and rich in dietary fibre, anti-oxidants, minerals and vitamins. Serve a few with a side salad for a delicious lean lunch.

Ginger and Maple Biscuits

Traditionally these delicious biscuits are made with rolled sugar, golden syrup, white flour and butter. So many times I’ve had to sadly shake my head when offered one and then silently curse my healthy eating approach to food. It’s not fair right?! So here’s my healthy version of these crumbly delights – coming in at just 87 calories each. Huzzah!

Choc-Raspberry Overnight Oats

What could be better than a nourishing bowl of oats for breakfast? Oh thats right, chocolate and raspberry oats.
Busy mornings? If you’re a little organised the night before, you can wake up and throw the jar in your bag for work. The perfect portable protein breakfast.

Chocolate Chip Strawberry Pancakes

Chocolate Chip Strawberry Pancakes

I love pancakes, but very rarely do I find a cafe in Sydney that doesn’t smother them in syrup, or bacon, or both. So of course, I made my own – gluten and sugar free, of course. What better combination than the sweetness of fresh strawberries against earthy chocolate to start the day?

Thats right…I eat chocolate for breakfast.

Triple-layered Yogurt Parfait

Yogurt parfait makes for a deliciously filling breakfast, but store-bought versions are often full of added sugar or unnatural sweeteners. Instead of spending money and wasting calories on bad ingredients, why not make your own? Double the ingredients and make a few portions for the week ahead. Go on…the money you save can go on that extra box of chocolate protein bars. Convinced?!

Cookie Dough Bites

Uh oh. I think I just created the worlds best raw, high protein, clean cookie dough bites! Soft, gooey, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. These are on par with a just-baked Mrs Fields choc-chip cookie. It’s a big call, but I’ve made it. You have to make these to believe it. I can’t be held responsible of you eat them all in one sitting!
