Fit Mixes x Matcha Maiden: Friday Flow Sessions

When two Aussie businesses team up in the name of health, magic happens. Fit Mixes + Matcha Maiden joined forces to bring friends + influencers together for a special morning of yoga, plus healthy breakfast nibbles at The Ivy Rooftop Pool. The perfect venue to get your zen on, surrounded by still water and gorgeous beach-cool decor.

On the menu was this delish Matcha Cookie Dough Parfait, which made quite the pairing. If you’re not already on the matcha bandwagon, here’s the low-down: it’s ground green tea leaves, which can be added to smoothie bowls, cakes, ice creams, yogurt and even savoury dishes to amp up their nutritional profile. With 137 x the antioxidants of green tea, we love to roll with it too. Vanilla + Coconut is a matcha made in heaven!

Of course, we’re pretty proud of our bangin’ ball mix too. It makes a bloody good chocolate brownie (if we do say so ourselves). Think outside the ball babes – it’s time to get creative. Don’t forget to share your awesome pics with #igotballs #fitmixes so we can see + share them!

Yoga was run by the amazing Thy of Modo Yoga, who showed us how to get bendy, and bliss out before hitting those emails in the office, feeling zen. What better way to start the Friday?

The snack bar was a hit with everyone (surprise, surprise). Isn’t breakfast the highlight of everyones day?! Post-yoga nourishment was much needed after arm balances and a whole lotta downward dogging.

Kinda wishing we looked this beautiful working up a sweat…

To catch more of the action, don’t forget to head to Instagram and Facebook. We’re pretty snap-happy over there 😉 WATCH THIS SPACE for more action next week when Fit Mixes + Match Maiden hit up Melbourne for another Friday Flow session at the Adelphi Rooftop Pool!

Brisbane, Perth, and even Singapore…you’re in our sights too. No FOMO okay?!

Thanks to Rach at Alice Liddell Blog for capturing these fabulous snaps on the day, and to all the amazing goodie bag sponsors. Can’t wait for round two in Melbourne next week. It’s going to be EPIC…because #onFridaysWeFlow xo
