Coachella season is on the horizon and for those lucky ducks that are actually heading to the festival, you can expect to enjoy some serious partying, celeb spotting and good tunes. And whilst us Aussies are heading into the depths of winter (which to be honest isn't that cold compared to other places) our Northern Hemisphere friends are ready to head into hot party season. TIP 1: BROWS & MASCARA FIRST
Always do your brows and mascara first (and also a little mascara last!). After you've primed your skin, apply mascara and brows to open your eyes, create that important definition, and map the rest of your makeup look. It will keep you on track to successfully achieve your end goal throughout the makeup application process.

TIP 2: ACE YOUR BASE, BUT SKIP YOUR FOREHEAD
For long-lasting coverage and maximum sun protection, opt for a matte foundation with SPF - combining the benefits of a self-setting foundation formula and sunscreen in one. Pro tip: don’t over apply to your forehead – a foundation-heavy forehead can age the face so keep your application to a light wash, or try a smoothing primer in this area instead.

TIP 3: DON’T BE AFRAID OF COLOUR
Festivals are the perfect opportunity to go crazy with colour (not that we need an excuse!), so don’t be shy with your eyeshadow. Try a colour you wouldn’t normally wear to the office and add that final touch for festival-ready beauty by matching your lip colour with your eyeshadow. If you’re worried about making a mess with bright colour, try using lipsticks or eye pencils to create the intensity around your eyes then for longevity, set with a translucent powder.
