What’s your signature home scent?

What's your signature home scent?

I've had a few candle accidents in my time. Does anyone else have a tendency to light a fair few around the home and then leave them unattended (oops, sorry firemen) or just leave them to burn right down? I'm not allowed to be responsible for our ambient lighting situation any more after one of my tea lights set a fireplace (in rented accommodation) a little bit alight...

I tried to make the safer move to incense, but I was a little put off by the overwhelming smell of hippies from a bygone-era. Think I may have found a fave solution to my scented woes, after being introduced to a new 'electric wax warmer' released by Circa Home. This baby is a plug + play kinda thing, that uses electricity (no flames, huzzah!) to warm the scented wax blocks to a liquid, releasing a delightful aroma. As a plus, it also lights up very much like an oil diffuser with candle...cue romantic lighting.

The Circa Home Electric Wax Warmer is a delightfully subtle addition to your home decor, providing a soft warm glow and up to 96 hours of fragrance per tray of Melts. Circa Home Scented Melts are hand made in Australia using natural soy wax and high quality fragrant oils.

Okay, so what are the choices? No gypsy rose or yang ylang here, thank you:

What's your signature home scent?

Vanilla Bean + Allspice: warming and comforting

Jasmine + Magnolia: floral and a little bit retro

Mango + Papaya: fruity and energising

Ocean Breeze: light, clean and fresh

Neroli + Vanilla: sweet with a hint of citrus

Raspberry + Vanilla: indulgent and alluring

After enjoying a breakfast event with the awesome gals at Circa Home and experimenting with all the fragrances, I would have to say my personal favourite is the Mango + Papaya - it takes you on holiday in an instant. Think tropical beaches, huge fruit bowls and lots of sunshine.

If you really can't choose, you can actually mix + match to make your signature fragrance that perfectly fits your home and mood. Add two different soy melts to your diffuser and get creative!
