Vanilla Bean and Almond Smoothie

A fantastic blend for early risers who like a smooth start to their morning. Gentle on the taste buds while delightfully smooth and filling, this one will keep you going for hours.





  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats
  • ½ cup plain Greek yoghurt
  • 3 heaped tablespoons vanilla bean protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon natural almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pitted Medjool date
  • ¾ cup  unsweetened vanilla almond milk, or milk of choice
  • Blueberries and flaked almonds (to decorate)


  1. Add oats to blender and pulse to a fine flour.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Top with blueberries and flaked almonds (optional). Enjoy!!
Omit oats if you’re planning on having this as a snack rather than breakfast – they’ll keep you full for a long time!
