There’s nothing wrong with a square or two of dark chocolate. Particularly when it’s made from raw cacao (loaded with antioxidants) and refined sugar free. These chocolates put the super in superfood!
These guys make raw milky chocolate seem like an easy feat. If you’ve ever attempted it yourself, it’s not. Try the coconut ‘mylk’ chocolate (so velvety), or if you’re craving something that little bit darker, the raw 72% dark chocolate is bound to tick your boxes.
Possibly the best chocolate bliss balls you ever will try (not that I’m bias). So smooth and fudgey, you’d be hard-pressed to know these are actually healthy. The raw cacao is sourced from friends at Loving Earth (see above) and is packed with magnesium and other bliss nutrients for a happy body and mind. With no dates, fructose or blender in sight, these little goodies take 5 minutes to make + are completely guilt free.
Casey Pringle is onto a good thing. Lover of fine chocolate, she makes her bars in Melbourne for fellow chocolate devotees who want to enjoy life’s little luxuries without the guilt. Sweetened with coconut nectar, they’re low GI too. You’re green friends will approve – she even uses recycles packaging and hand-prints it herself. Talk about artisan!
Handcrafted and made in Victoria, Liefje is sweetened with pure Canadian maple syrup and contains no dairy, gluten, cane sugar and is low GI and vegan. Most importantly, it tastes hella-good and comes in usual flavour combos – I love the Pomegranate + Pepperberry.
When the cafe opened here in Sydney, I was literally beside myself. I consume at least a bar of this a week. Fave flavours include sour cherry and vanilla, fig+ orange or mint. Don’t take my word for it, just try them all.
