Banana and Almond Protein Ice Cream

SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 small bananas – frozen
  • ½ scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon natural almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon of almond milk or water

METHOD:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Serve with chopped nuts and a sprig of fresh mint.

Tips:
Substitute protein powder for a few drops of vanilla essence.
Sprinkle over some cacao nibs for extra bite.
Can be stored in the freezer for up to two weeks.
