8 Proven Reasons You’ll Be Successful

8 Proved Reason's You'll Be Successful | The Fit Foodie Blog

We all want to be successful. But what does that look like? $$$? Followers? The best abs in town?

Success means different things to different people.

For me success is happiness, a sense of achievement, and inspiring others to live a better, more fulfilling life.

If you're not quite be where you want to be right now or know how you're going to get there (I feel you...see point #1 on THIS post), but you know in your heart you will be successful - it will absolutely happen for you. Call it manifestation / belief / grind, whatever... you simple won't fail if you tick off these points below.

  1. You know the value of hard work

You weren't born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You know how to roll your sleeves up, get dirty and hustle hard. You appreciate every pay-check and pat yourself on the back for the small wins. You care more about the work than you do the wealth, and you're not in it to get-rich-quick.

  2. You're passionate

You wanted to kiss Simon Sinek when he said 'It's not about what you do, it's about HOW you do it.' You care deeply about what you're trying to achieve, and truly believe it holds value. It also brings you endless amounts of joy and happiness, and the thought of an 18-hour-day probably excites you.

  3. You have *CRAZY* life goals

You're actually not crazy at all. You're the genius who was brave enough to dream that big. Shoot for the moon and fall amongst the stars, babes. No one ever got very far by thinking small.

  4. You're a list and organisation junkie

Calendars are your life. You have a loyalty card with Kikki K and own an embarrassing amount of planners, notepads and lists. All those amazing ideas need writing down somewhere before the next one comes along. That's totally acceptable. You keep organised to maintain your sanity.

  5. You inspire people

People who don't have to care about you admire your vision and tenacity. They want what you got. When you can inspire others in that way, you're already making a difference in people's lives.

  6. You don't let anyone shit on your hustle

Your family and friends and barista think your cray-cray, but you couldn't give a fuck. You know why? Because you have 100% faith in your plan, and you're the only person that needs to get it. No one understood Steve Jobs either. What's that mum, you're reading this on an Apple device?!

  7. You screw it up and turn it into something positive.

I've buggered up more times than I care to admit on my pursuit to success, and sure have many more blunders to come. I've made some (very expensive) mistakes, and I've spent numerous hours sobbing uncontrollably into my pillow. Here's what divides the successful from the not-so-successful... you dry the tears, pick yourself up, and turn it into a memorable lesson. 'How not to do X' is sometimes just as great as getting it right. Seriously. Get right back up, and keep hustling armed with your new knowledge. You've now got something over your competitors. Win.

  8. You're focused and self-driven

You've been called an overachiever. Everything you touch turns to gold. You're a perfectionist. Type A. Obsessed, even.
You shrug it off or take it as a compliment. It's called dedication, guys. You've got your eye on the prize and NOTHING gon' stop you shine. You know what it takes and that's all that matters.
