Your 7 day healthy meal plan

7 day healthy meal plan from the fit foodie + dietitian

Geraldine Georgeou (Accredited Practising Dietitian) has created a bespoke 7–Day Meal Plan that encourages Australians to leave their winter hibernation and kick-start their mornings with a well-balanced breakfast and healthy exercise!

What are the benefits of this plan?

My Wake up with a Kiwi 7 Day Diet Plan for Zespri includes quick and easy meals that provide the balance our body needs, all starting with a Gold Kiwifruit for its excellent nutritional benefits.

Zespri® Gold Kiwifruits offer a serious breakfast boost, with an army of nutrients other fruits could only dream of – in fact there’s twenty nutrients and minerals in each piece including Vitamin C. In addition actinidin, a protease enzyme unique to kiwifruits, helps us digest several food proteins, including those found in meat, milk, legumes and cereal.

What is your food philosophy?

My food philosophy is “Balance”. This starts with breakfast ensuring you have a balance of protein, low GI carbohydrates and good fats. Breakfast ideas include eggs which are a great source of protein to start the morning and keep you going till lunch. Try a lovely spinach and cherry tomato omelette with fresh avocado and finish with a zespri gold kiwifruit. It is important to eat regularly every 3-4 hours and ensure you maintain that balance throughout the day as this will provide long lasting energy, reduce risk of overeating and feeling full and happy whilst maintaining a health weight.

I'll be whipping up that green smoothie with a pinch of matcha for tomorrow breakfast!
