Iconic Aussie brand Country Road has opened the doors on its first café as part of new lifestyle concept: POST 3943 at Country Road, located in Sorrento on Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula. It’s a beautiful new space serving up some healthy breakfast and lunch options, alongside its usual retail store offerings. My heart just skipped a beat.
POST 3943 is a collaboration between Country Road and local organic café, The Sisters. The store’s surrounding gardens include a vegetable patch supplying fresh herbs and produce to the café and the menu consists of fresh, seasonal produce and healthy snacks along with some indulgent sweet treats.
“Our Sorrento store has been designed to feel as though you have stepped into a family home. Each room has its own character and with the addition of a café and gardens, we have created a real life expression of Country Road,” says managing director, Sophie Holt.
Healthy breakfast highlights include organic chia pudding with coconut milk and seasonal fruits, homemade raw muesli with natural yoghurt and stewed fruit, and corn fritters with smashed avocado + fetta. For lunch, the café offers seasonal soups, salads, baguettes, wraps, sandwiches and savoury tarts with relish. Drinks include coffee (almond milk available – #winning), organic tea, juices, and coconut water.
See you there fitties….just as soon as I book my flight.
